About David Mascarina

David Mascarina is an award-winning digital and creative director with over 15 years of experience shaping brand, design, and digital strategy for mission-driven organizations across the nonprofit, philanthropic, and cultural sectors.

As Senior Manager of Creative and Brand Experience at data.org, David leads creative design and brand strategy for the platform — developing innovative content and guiding the full arc of its creative vision. His career spans some of the most respected institutions in Los Angeles and beyond, including the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the Annenberg Foundation, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and California State University, Northridge.

A trusted creative consultant, David has helped build compelling digital experiences for organizations such as the Los Angeles Tourism Board (Discover LA mobile app), Facebook Oculus VR for Good (Now Metaverse), Cascade AI, Washington University in St. Louis, the Los Angeles Zoo, the Norton Simon Museum, and Descanso Gardens.

Beyond his professional work, David gives back to the design and social impact communities through advisory roles at the Social Policy Institute at Washington University in St. Louis, IntersectLA at CSUN, and Los Angeles City College.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from California State University, Northridge (with honors), and a Master of Communication Management in Digital Social Media from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.
