The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation is a family foundation established in 1944 by the founder of Hilton Hotels. It provides funding to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable people around the world. The Hilton Humanitarian Prize is the largest of its kind, providing $2.5 million to a nonprofit organization that has made extraordinary contributions to alleviate human suffering. The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation utilizes various communication channels to share information about its work, engage with stakeholders, and promote its mission of alleviating human suffering and ensuring that all people and communities have the opportunity to thrive.

About the Work

The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation shares stories of impact, highlighting the work of grantees and the people they serve, to illustrate the tangible results of their investments. As part of the Communications, Partnerships, and Advocacy team, David was responsible for leading the digital communication efforts to maintain and manage the website and social media content, print and digital design, as well as leading global campaigns for the programs and Hilton Humanitarian Prize teams.

The Hilton Foundation team also emphasizes partnerships and collaboration in their communications, highlighting how they work with various organizations to achieve their goals. David Mascarina led the creative and content development to support the foundation’s programmatic and institutional goals. He led video and photography teams from across the United States, as well as collaborated with local talents from Kenya, Uganda, and Ghana to tell the story of the foundation’s partners’ impact on the people that they serve.
